I realize that this is my blog and I can do whatever I want but I also want to provide value and/or entertainment to the people who read my blog. That’s why I’m asking you today to tell me what you’d like to see here in 2010.
- More helpful posts that are article-style? About what?
- More kid pics?
- More video? (or maybe less?
) - More funny?
- Interviews with people?
- Recipes again like I used to?
- None of those things?
Tell me what you’d like to see and I will use your feedback as I am making blog plans for 2010.

I’ll definitely keep the video. Have some ideas on recipes too. Confession: I feel like blogging about cooking feels a little more mommy bloggerish than I usually think of myself but eff it – I like to cook.

Yes, your blog never disappoints and I appreciate the advice you’ve given me for mine.
I’m a fan of easy dinner recipes that don’t involve alot of “meat touching.” Raw meat kindof grosses me out.
I boil chicken a lot.

Haha. I make Andy separate the meat when I buy it in bulk but want to freeze it in smaller chunks. I also try my best not to touch it and if I do, I wash my hands for a long time. Thankfully, most of my recipes don’t require meat touching except for the meatloaf. I’ll have to use a special Mindy Warning on that one.

Shannon,
I found you when you were a trending topic for “squeeeeee…” so I’m looking for more fun words to add to my vocab in 2010… I really enjoyed yours and JT’s “twitterfair,” and hope you continue that in the coming year, too…
Otherwise, I just enjoy your day-to-day quips…
New Year’s Blessings to you…
~Jill

Hi Jill! Unfortunately, I didn’t invent that word. It’s just that not everybody had heard of it, including my dear JT. Glad you’re still around to enjoy him in the header. The blog has changed a lot since then, huh?

You’re right, it wouldn’t. How can I make that happen with my blog in 2010?

How kick ass does your blog look? Why don’t you tell us how you did that for one?
Interviews are always interesting.
Keep the videos.
Did that help?

Courtney, this post kind of explains the basics that I use to set it up but the programming/design beyond that were done by me because I have been programming for more than 20 years and been using Photoshop for about 10 years. I have considered doing a “how to” post about it but not sure the angle to take since so much of it requires a background in technical stuff. Hmm. Will have to think about that.

Just keep doing what you are doing… I’ve really enjoyed your blogging every day in December! I think you have a great balance of how-to and informative articles, with funny, silly things and also the new inclusion of video (yay!)
Just keep it up!

I personally liked the old RemarkablyClever stuff. I understand you changed tactics since then, but…well…you asked.

I appreciate the feedback, Karol. I think you like that style because it’s kind of like what you do on your blog.
I do have some helpful ones planned – how I redesigned my blog, things I’ve done to avoid doctors (Neti pot included!) and others. It will just be mixed in with the other styles of posts. It’s the only way I can keep a blog going since all the different styles are parts of me.
Thanks for your comment.

I like it already. Not too many exclamation points, no LOLs, and not “overdone”. Perfect.
Keep the video, obviously, and your last random list was totally in the right direction.
Interviews would be interesting…
