I’ve decided that randomness can strike on really any day and it’s not just a Monday thing. Ladies and gents, I present to you today’s batch of randomness which happens to be on a Friday, in case you didn’t know.
- I did a guest post on twitip.com called “How to Get Celebrities to Tweet You.” It’s been well received, Tweeted over 200 times, 20+ comments and I’ve gotten lots of new Twitter followers and blog traffic. Great experience. I am planning to do more of these types of things. I hope you won’t mind the new guests we have joining us here.
- I think 2 drinks before weekly video chats is going to now be a thing. Maybe it should be called “The 2 Drink Chat Show.”
- Somebody on Twitter asked me if I’m a full-time blogger. I guess that whole “putting it out into the universe” thing works digitally too.
- Somebody on Twitter also asked me for advice on writing a book. Weirdo.
- Casey and I are both fans of “The Office” so when I emailed her during the show and said “scissor me,” I assumed she’d get the joke because it referred to last night’s episode. She wasn’t watching.
- I occasionally read PerezHilton.com and find myself not knowing anybody being gossiped about. At least Dlisted.com does it and makes me laugh. Even if I have no idea who he’s talking about half the time (Jersey Shore? WTF?).
- Speaking of funny, if you aren’t already reading The Bloggess, go.

I did watch The Office. Funny, but I think Modern Family has taken the #1 spot in my heart these days.

I’m not watching Modern Family because I feel maxed out w/the few shows that I have right now but SO many people say this that I might have to get caught up online. This is how I also started watching The Office – overwhelming suggestions by other people.

“Scissor me.” Funny. I just watched The Office like an hour ago. Didn’t you enjoy the Suck It song?
I have to say that I completely feel you on this post. I consistently feel random, most of the time actually, randomly speaking.
Sara – Modern Family definitely kicks butt and I think, for now, it has edged The Office. I mean come on, a “moon landing” and a “splash down.” Hilarious stuff.
