We got lots of fun things this year (also gave some good gifts if I do say so myself). Here are a few of them.

iTunes has a free holiday album available here featuring artists like Weezer and Sarah McLachlan (let’s hope she’s not singing one of those SAD ASPCA songs).
Had no plans with extended family this year but enjoyed the time at home on a rainy, cold day.
Saturday, we dyed eggs. Had two kits to use – glitter and tie dye. I knew Blake would pick the glitter kit.

I had long, long, LONG been wanting to go on a train trip and wish the US had trains that ran as efficiently as Europe to make it easier to do so. Every time I had checked previously, it was going to be too expensive and take way too long so we’d never done it. [...]

We got up on Christmas Eve and my mom had made us a wonderful breakfast – pineapple, raspberries, cherries, sausage, biscuits, quiche and peach nectar. Beautiful. Yummy. I love my mom’s food!

We arrived at my mom and dad’s house on December 23. Their house is so lovely at Christmas with their gorgeous tree, beautiful Christmas dishes and my mom’s villages that she has setup.
